As you may know Elmbridge Borough council has recently updated the way it displays planning applications on its website. One of our members has suggested the following as a helpful rough guide to navigating the new planning portal:-

• To open, type in www.elmbridge.gov.uk/planning/online.htm for planning search and Press ‘go’.
• Press cursor on ‘Planning Application Search’.
• Press cursor on window ‘Search planning applications’.
• Type in application number in box (Mark House 2013/5106). Press ‘search’.
• 7 options appear in green boxes.
• Press cursor on ‘Key Dates’ – shows Committee dates (eg Mark House 31/03/2014).
• Press cursor on ‘Plans & Documents’ – shows options.
• For Officer Report, press cursor on ‘show’ then ‘view’.

If you want to find out planning applications to be considered at a Planning Sub-Committee Meeting :

• To open, type in (or click on) www.elmbridge.gov.uk/committees/calendar.htm to go direct to the ‘Committee Calendar’ for dates of planning sub-committee meetings.
• Press ‘search’.
• Press cursor on first item that appears ‘Committee Calendar’.
• Calendar appears.
• For example for the 31/03/14 meeting press cursor on ‘19.45 WAPS’.
• A list of applications to be considered at that meeting should appear.
